Why Do I Need A Hearing Test?
Typically a Hearing Test should be conducted as often as you would have an eye examination conducted. We recommended to have an initial hearing test from an early age in order to use the results for future comparisons. The frequency of follow up testing will generally be determined by your hearing care professional depending on the outcome of your assessment.
How Much Does A Hearing Test Cost?
Independent Hearing offers a wide range of hearing assessments. We start with a FREE Hearing Screen to determine if a hearing loss is present, depending on the outcome further comprehensive testing may be conducted which start from $50.
*If you are over 65 years of age or hold a valid Pension/DVA card then Independent Hearing offers a FREE comprehensive Hearing Test at no charge.
How Long Does A Hearing Test Take?
A Comprehensive Hearing test will take approximately 45-60 minutes depending on the complexity of the hearing loss.
Our FREE hearing screens are less comprehensive and will only take 15mins.
