The cost of your ReSound hearing aids varies depending on the model and level of aftercare purchased. 

On average ReSound Hearing aids vary in price from \$500 – \$3900 per device depending on the level of technology selected. Further discounts will apply for eligible Pension & DVA card holders along with rebates for Private Health cover.

ReSound provides a 3 year manufacturer warranty on your hearing aids, covering you for manufacturing defects. In addition, if you lose or damage your hearing aids in the first year – ReSound provides you with a replacement device for a nominal fee.

Independent Hearing also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on your hearing aids.

A hearing aid’s lifespan is on average 5 years, this can be increased or reduced depending on the level of care and maintenance the individual takes with the devices.

The main reason a hearing aid whistles is due to Feedback. Feedback occurs when sound spills out of the ear canal and back into the hearing aid microphones which causes a beeping or whistling sound. This is easily fixed but will require an appointment with a specialists.
